What step can you take to truly earn far more money? Obviously there are numerous ways to find your payoff. Many market observers agree starting your own business is nearly always the approach that over many years is likely to deliver the greatest return.
Being a business owner can likewise deliver some of the worst headaches, upset and confusion so is it worth the risk? It obviously depends on how you're disposed to taking risks? But how do you decide if you would actually start your own business?
When I talk with clients it almost always comes down to a fairly simple resolution. Are you prepared to commit to a new business (or an old one for that matter)? Can you see yourself running a business that may throw you no end of difficult challenges? And if it could be so tricky why even do it to begin with?
Because ownership brings with it opportunities to both protect income (such as tax advantages) and allowable steps to build pension futures. An owner has a far broader array of choices while running the business to legally sidestep certain rules and regs which impinge on your activites.
And it's certainly clear only a small percent of the public should be attempting a small business as a full time occupation. But part time is a great way to get started and see how it feels.
